At Beekalene Fabrics we are passionate, innovative people. With a wide portfolio of fabrics for home furnishings, we are constantly evolving to meet with changing demands. Even after 43 years, our family-run business still delights both the local and international markets with a diverse array of products ranging from contemporary linen prints to high-end synthetic blends. Our strong design, infrastructure, and finish continually inspire confidence in buyers across 25 countries– people for whom we regularly customise products. Over the last many years, we have participated in large international trade fairs such as Evteks, Heimtex, Moods and Proposte to become a truly global name. As we move forward, we are keen to ensure the best in both design and quality.

Our focus on design
At Beekalene, our atelier is an extraordinary work of art in itself. Two-thousand square feet of beautifully decorated floor space readily inspires our 16 in-house designers who focus on both the mid and high-end markets.
Our materials range from textures and embroidery to jacquards and prints. Over the years we have constantly surprised our customers with our penchant for design and innovation through collections that are a tasteful mix of our personal aesthetic and industry-trends .
Beekalene is built on global design-pioneers who craft with efficacy. Our understanding of fashion is central to our production and is enhanced by consulting designers from Europe and the USA. Furthermore, our knowledgeable sales force enables us to meet our clients’ requirements time and time again.
With a truly diverse group of Indian and British designers, we are able to produce three original collections a year, in keeping with seasonal trends.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Integrated Infrastructure Powered by Technology & Craftsmanship
We believe our fabrics tell the Beekalene story the finest craftsmanship, design, research and technology to create unique collections. Our customised fabrics are bom from a state-of-the-art, fully vertically-integrated manufacturing facility, equipped with the latest technology for both sampling designs and producing them.
We convert yarn into finished fabric at our factory itself because we always strive for a superior product. Our manufacturing plant in Mumbai is equipped with state of the art European and Japanese machines that control all aspects of production in-house. All our fabric is put through a rigorous testing procedure at our laboratory to ensure optimal quality and shade consistency before it leaves the factory
Our emphasis on innovation and personal service sets us apart from the rest of our industry. Each senior designer at Beekalene works on a single market from concept to realisation with the best tools and workers at his disposal. We deliver half a million metres of finished fabric per month ie, 6 million metres a year.
Our technological capabilities include:
Yarn Dyeing We have the latest Fongs yam dyeing machines. Monga Strayfield RE dryer and SAMEW winding machines
Fabric Weaving We have Sulzer projectiles and Vamatex rapier dobbies for weaving plans, semi-plains, stripes and checks
We also have Somet rapiers with Staubli jacquards
Embroidery in 2009 we installed two Tajima multi-head machines Today, in 2013 we have 32 multi-bead machines
Fabric Processing Coroprises fully-automated jet dyeing machines soft flow machines a slenter and an auto dispensing machine to ensure the best possible product
Printing we have a Le Meyer transter-print machine Warp Knitting we have & Kari Mayer and Liba machines that can produce 350,000 metres of cloth a month
